The work on the following pages has been created in upstate New York, by Diane Luedemann. The pots, thrown on a potter’s wheel, are made from a white porcelain clay body and fired to Cone 9-10. This firing range makes the pieces safe for dishwasher, oven and microwave. Although the glazes vary from crystalline to an earthy matte, there are no toxic chemicals used to provide this variety of color.
